Molly’s Doll (make-over)

1 Mar

Here’s the rag doll I recently purchased on Ebay.

It’s handmade and signed by the designer.  I thought the clothes were shabby, so I took them apart to use as patterns for new clothes.

Now the new outfit:

The last phase of the make-over is new hair.  The original hair was glued on in thin rows.  It’s easy to pull out, and wouldn’t last long in the hands of a two year-old.
